Designed for composite steel construction, the arc-welded shear connector / shear stud is welded directly onto structural steel members to create a reliable mechanical bond between steel and concrete. The system transfers shear forces between the steel section and concrete slab, enabling effective composite action in structural construction. Shear studs are supplied with ceramic ferrules for drawn arc stud welding, with standard and through-type ferrule options available. Custom sizes and project-specific lengths can be manufactured to suit project specifications and engineering drawings.
